Crotty Creates Chances, Rattlers Really Rolling
BREAKING NEWS! Rochester Rattlers win their second straight game. In other news, Saturday was not April Fools day, so you know that this actually happened. At the mid point of the season, I predicted that the Rattlers would finish with a 4-8 record. With two wins over the powerful Denver Outlaws, these four wins are starting to look more and more possible. Only three games against Long Island, Chesapeake, and Boston remain on their schedule. The first two are winnable and the Boston game is within reach if they are able to keep up this level of play and Boston keeps on falling short.
Ned Crotty continues to prove why he is (or at least should be) in the running for MVP or Offensive Player. 4 goals and 2 assists in this game helped lead the Rattlers to their second straight victory over the Outlaws (15-8). Joel White continues to impress me on the defensive side of the ball. On a side note, I expect to see the winner of Rookie of the Year to be from Hamilton (Boltus) or Rochester (Catalino or White).

Denver fell short once again, managing to only score 8 for the second week in a row. If they hope to regain momentum, they must find a way for Poillon, Mundorf, and Martin (Con Bro) to score or at least get some assists. The Outlaws won their early games by scoring often, and scoring a lot (they scored 15 or more in 4 of 7 games this season before these two losses).
