More on NALL: Two Leagues In One? We Will Know Tomorrow

North American Lacrosse League

Not much more is new in the world collapsing around NALL, and everything should be known for a fact late tomorrow evening. However, some facts have become more clear recently. For one, there are definitely two sides in this trying to take charge of the league.

So some owners in the league had their teams moved to a NALL schedule, Commissioner Anthony Caruso along with the teams in Kentucky and Boston, along with new ownership in Wilkes-Barre, are ready to play this season in January and want to go forward without the other teams. Hershey was out anyways because they did not have an arena deal, and it looked like Charlotte and Jacksonville were out. However, Jacksonville is still listed on the NALL website.

So it *seems* like the two groups are: Kentucky, Boston, Jacksonville and half of Wilkes-Barre, and then Charlotte, Hershey and half of Wilkes-Barre because Jim Jennings still claims to own the Shamrocks while Caruso and others in the league say that Aaron Musselman does. Jennings also still keeps saying that Jacksonville is with him.

As it seems obvious here, and according to some, it seems like there are two NALLs. One wants to play now and one in the fall. The question is, who really has the right to NALL, and how many teams will go with them? It is currently a five team league with one team not rostered as the sixth, so how are these leagues even going to be split up?

According to Caruso they have two expansion teams on the horizon that are not Orlando and New York, and according to reports they could be in Tampa Bay, Albany and even Montreal, Quebec. Question is, which NALL is it?

The owners are having a meeting tomorrow and Jennings claims that he and the other owners will extend an invitation to Kentucky and Boston to join their NALL. Things will not be decided tomorrow, but we will know what path the league, or leagues, are on.

NALL

The timing for this could not be worse. A new league just starting to pick up momentum and excitement with fans. Play the season and drop Hershey for the winter. If they want to play again in the fall and move it there permanently do so in the fall. The people that they are turning off now are the very people that are interested in the new teams. To change course at this point, well you would lose me as a fan that is for sure. Get your acts together today boys…..get united.

It's not just Hershey

a group of teams are rebelling, and I cannot tell which side is in the wrong or right.

here we go again

Front office egos strike again. This shouldn’t be a pissing contest. It should be about building the game and growing exposure and fans. For that reason, above all others, let’s get it together boys.

Remember, as my lacrosse coach use to tell us on the field, always keep your head up, and your feet moving forward.
