NLL Week Six Friday Night Game Thread

PrintWeek six of the NLL season is kind of an odd one, with no games on Saturday. Two games tonight, on a Friday, and then two games this Sunday. Either way, the two games on tap tonight should be good ones and we are here for you to discuss it with us.
First, at 8:30pm, the Edmonton Rush (1-2) are at the Minnesota Swarm (1-2). The Rush lost to the Colorado Mammoth last week for the second time this season, while the Minnesota Swarm blew their lead against the Rochester Knighthawks for the loss. One of these teams will have two wins after tonight, something very important in this tight NLL.
Next up, a very late game at 11pm, the Calgary Roughnecks (2-2) are in Everett to play the Washington Stealth (2-3). The Roughnecks started out the season strong with two wins, but have now lost two games in a row before a bye last week. Meanwhile, the Stealth finally got their first win last week, in Buffalo.

Derrick the Driller was one of the great mascots of all time. The Flames replaced him with a “Honey badger” which is supposed to be more kid friendly or something. It is a travesty of justice and all that is good.
Is that explanation enough?

It’s just drawing away from the game. Especially when a fight happens before the face off and they just throw their gloves down immediately after the ref steps away
