Breaking News: Athan Iannucci Traded to Washington Stealth for Paul Rabil
2:32 PM: Confirmed. Athan Iannucci to Washington for Paul Rabil and a first round draft pick.
1:46 PM: Two sources close to the situation tell me that the trade is Iannucci to the Washington Stealth for Paul Rabil. Steve Bermel from IL Indoor also tweets this, but nothing more than that has been confirmed.
One source, when asked about it, only said; "Chaka Bainbridge was in Minnesota this weekend". The Buffalo Bandits also said that they are not in the running for Iannucci.
12:21 PM: According to his agent Chaka Bainbridge via Twitter, Athan Iannucci has been traded from the Edmonton Rush. To where he was traded has not yet been announced but research to find out is in the works.
Last month it was reported by In Lax We Trust that a trade with the Washington Stealth fell apart, and this could be the same match. There have also been rumors of the Calgary Roughnecks and Buffalo Bandits today, but nothing from any legitimate source.
Keep watching as we find out more about the trade, where Iannucci is going and what that team is giving up to the Edmonton Rush.

Rabil is a good fit for Edmonton
They need a real face of the franchise there, Rabil is a good fit. Will be strange to see him in black and silver though.
I honestly don't know what to think about this
On one side, ATHAN IANNUCCI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the other, I really like Paul Rabil…

I worry about how this affects things
Doug Locker always says how much the Stealth stress locker room. But this is Iannucci now.

I have never gotten that vibe from Athan. I musst be missing somthing. Obviously holding out has somthing to do with the perception that he’s a bad teammate, but if your good at somthing, you dont do it for cheap. From what I have seen from his time in Philly and this past season with Langley, is that he’s a respected and liked teammate. I must be missing details from the past but I think this hold out has given him a reputation that truly dosnt represent who Athan is or the type of locker room guy he is. I dont know Athan, so maybe I am wrong. I just sensed in years past good energy with his teammates and fans especially
