"The Rochester Knighthawks apologize to our fans and business partners for the incident involving members of our team this past week.
Five members of our organization engaged in conduct that we do not condone and these actions are being dealt with internally and within the legal system. The inappropriate actions will result in consequences to those involved and this will be addressed in due course.
The vision of the Rochester Knighthawks is to improve professional lacrosse and take it to a higher level. We sincerely hope that our fans and our business partners continue to believe.

4:20 PM: Teddy Jenner from IL Indoor via Twitter reports that all five players will be suspended for the event.
1:52 PM: On the NLL head coaches media call this afternoon, Rochester Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen released a statement relating to the incident with the Rochester Knighthawks reported by IL Indoor last night. This is the last and only time that InLaxWeTrust will have any coverage on this incident as it is an official release by the head coach.
"According to the police report of the incident, seven people were taken into custody after the altercation. We can confirm that four Knighthawks players required medical treatment and spent the night in the hospital. We can also confirm that five of the people taken into custody are Rochester Knighthawks players. The five players were released on their own with no bail required after appearing in court on Tuesday and are now home. We are conducting our own investigation of the incident and there is now an ongoing legal proceeding and we will not be issuing any further comment at this time"
Yesterday it had been reported by ILIndoor.com that there was an incident at a restaurant in Bloomington, Minnesota that involved five players of the Rochester Knighthawks. On if those players would be suspended or able to play this week, Hasen said "no comment"

Let's not judge too quickly
Hopefully the lacrosse community learned from that nasty incident at Duke a few years ago that early reports are rarely the full story or even close to being accurate. These young men are not thugs and deserve the chance to say their piece in the fullness of time in a time and place of their choosing, if ever!
