Paul Rabil Rumor Mill: Saturday Night
Here is your daily Paul Rabil rumor mill update. Things are flying all over the place lately since this deal has been made. As IL Indoor and Jason Gregor have both reported, Paul Rabil will not report with the Edmonton Rush.
This isn't entirely surprising with the rumors that have been around ever since the Rush acquired him for Athan Iannucci. Many have asked why the Rush did not talk to Rabil before acquiring him; that is because the Stealth did not grant the Rush permission, in which case the Rush could not talk to him without breaking league rules.
Right now the only option seems to be to trade Rabil back east to get something out of the Brodie Merrill trade that sent Iannucci to the Rush. We have heard the Jordan Hall for Rabil rumor with the Rochester Knighthawks, but with him suspended indefinitely, that trade may have been pulled back.
The Buffalo Bandits have also been in on things, and one rumor today suggested a pick and a player. However, those are just rumors without much substance behind it. As of now the Rush do not have interest in talking to Philadelphia, as anything they have that Edmonton had wanted they would have asked for for Merrill.
Keep watching as more develops in the Paul Rabil saga. One thing is for sure, do not expect a trade this weekend, but something might get done this week.

Stinks of Bad Faith dealing by Stealth
This trade should be annulled having Rabil not reporting stinks of bad faith
and then everything went black

why?
If Edmonton wasn’t bright enough to call up Rabil and say “look, we’re dealing for you, will you come play?” then that’s their fault. Especially after they just got screwed over by Iannucci for the same thing. I do feel bad for the Rush but I’m not sure it’s sympathy.
Remember, as my lacrosse coach use to tell us on the field, always keep your head up, and your feet moving forward.

Matt
In the post I say that they could not of. The Stealth wouldn’t allow them.
