Pro Lacrosse Prospects: Week One

Every week, we will take a look at potential MLL and NLL prospects from college lacrosse. Watch tomorrow for our weekly NCAA and MCLA game recaps.

Johns Hopkins Blue Jays vs Towson Tigers

Two MLL drafted players are in this game, both of the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays. Chris Boland, who was drafted by the Boston Cannons, scored four goals but got injured at some point in the second half, and the severity is unknown. Marshall Burkhart, product of the Ohio Machine, had just one goal.

Virginia Cavaliers vs Drexel Dragons

Colin Briggs, owned by the Denver Outlaws, had a goal and two assists for Virginia. Chris Bocklet, who was drafted by the Charlotte Hounds, had a goal and an assist. For Drexel, goaltender Mark Manos, who was drafted by the Hounds, had five saves and allowed nine goals.

Stony Brook Seawolves vs Fairfield Stags

There are four MLL draft prospects in this game, with both Seawolves players drafted by the Long Island Lizards. Robert Campbell, a last round pick for the Lizards, had two goals and two assists. Kyle Moeller had no points. For Fairfield, Chesapeake Bayhawks prospect Brent Adams has three goals and Outlaws prospect Charlie Cipriano made nine saves.

Maryland Terps vs Hartford Hawks

Jake Bernhardt, a Hamilton Nationals prospect, got injured and will be out for a month. In other Maryland players. Joe Cummings, a Rochester Rattlers prospect, had one goal and one assist. Lastly, Bayhawks prospect Drew Snider had a goal and two assists. For Hartford, Rattlers prospect Carter Bender had two assists and Martin Bowes for the Boston Cannons had a goal and an assist.

Duke Blue Devils vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish

For Duke players, Mike Manley of the Rochester Rattlers did not have any points. In fact, not many Duke players did in their three goal performance. CJ Costabile did have a goal of the Bayhawks, but Justin Turri of the Hounds and Robert Rotanz of the Machine had nothing. For the Fighting Irish, Kevin Randall of the Hounds also had nothing.

Bucknell Bison vs UMass Minutemen

Billy Eisenrich from Ohio led the way for Bucknell with a hat trick and three assists to have six points. Two UMass players are MLL prospects, Anthony Biscardi and Tom Celentani, but neither show up in the box scores.

Star-divide

Delaware Blue Hens vs Loyola Grey Hounds

For the Blue Hens, Grant Kaleiku from the Bayhawks had two goals and an assist. John Austin from the Bayhawks as well did not have any stats. Loyola does not have any prospects.

North Carolina Tar Heels vs Detroit Mercy Titans

The only prospects in this game were from North Carolina, but there are a lot of them. Jimmy Dunster from Chesapeake had a hat trick to start off with. Jack McBride from the Hamilton Nationals had a goal, while three other prospects were not on the stat sheet.

Syracuse Orange vs Albany Great Danes

Tommy Palasek from the Lizards had three assists. Bobby Eilers of the Machine also had an assist.

Denver Pioneers vs Ohio State Buckeyes

Not only were MLL prospects in this game, but NLL too. Brock Sorensen (Nationals) and Mark Matthews (Denver) are expected to be top NLL draft picks after this season. Matthews of the Pioneers had two goals, while Sorensen did not have any goals. Also from the Pioneers is Ohio prospect Alex Demopolous, who had a goal.
