Colin Doyle to Skip All Star Game

Editor's Note: Doyle was named an all star game alternate captain today before this announcement was sent out by the Rock tonight.
Toronto Rock Captain Colin Doyle will not participate in Saturday's All-Star Game at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. The NLL will announce a replacement for Doyle shortly.
The Rock Captain is looking to take advantage of the extra day off to ease the stress of the demanding regular season schedule.
"Although it is a great honour to be asked to represent the Rock in the All-Star Game my health has to take priority at this time," said Doyle. "With the bulk of our schedule coming up here in the next month and a half, I need to focus on getting 100 percent healthy."
At the present time, Doyle is still expected to play in Friday night's game against the Rochester Knighthawks at Air Canada Canada Centre at 7pm.
