Washington Stealth Notes: Chris Hall, Lewis Ratcliff, Matt Beers
Yesterday, the Washington Stealth made two announcements. The first one was about the all star game, and how two of their players will be stepping into the game due to injuries to other western conference players.
Rhys Duch, also a member of the Stealth, will not play in the game and Lewis Ratcliff will be his replacement. Defender Matt Beers will replace Edmonton Rush defender Chris Corbeil. Another all star note, Buffalo defender Scott Self will replace Toronto captain Colin Doyle in the game as well.
Ratcliff is tied with Duch to lead the Stealth with 14 goals, and this will be his sixth all star game appearance of his career. Meanwhile, the Stealth also made another announcement late last evening.
Head coach Chris Hall will return to behind the bench this week against the Minnesota Swarm after undergoing a ten week cancer treatment plan. The Stealth have gone 1-5 under interim head coach Art Webster. It has been five weeks since Hall's last treatment, and he has said that this game has been his goal the whole time.
The Stealth will take on the Minnesota Swarm this Friday night at 10:45 pm at Comcast Arena in Everett, Washington. They will try to pick up just their second win of the season.
